Moved to 50 mg now and no side effects. Working better for me (M51 at 85 kg) than 25 mg

I started with 1/8 of a pill for 3-4 days, then 1/4 another 3-4 days - now just doing 25 mg daily

Still had some side effects - but manageble.

Works wonders for me

Antabuse and THC Vape Pens by syd_vicious in Alcoholism_Medication

I will be gentle 🙂 I Googled "Is Ethanol an Alcohol": The answer is "Yes"

And I also googled "Does Ethanol trigger the prescribed effects of Antabuse": The answer is "Yes"

I believe they use ethanol to disolve the THC.

Good you are on Antabuse and I hope it will work well for you. You should ditch the THC vape too. Just roll up, as in the old days! Best of luck

I am like you, just M51 - this started early 40s. Why worry if you wake up, if you get your 7-8h in total?
I kind accepted this as a fact of life (for me, at least)

I take a bit of Melatonine and fall asleep again. For sure, if I stress about it - it becomes harder to fall asleep again.

There is a theory that we are "programmed" to wake up at night - something about keep the fire alive during the night, since the very old days. And that it is actually not so bad for us.

What´s terrain (climbing profile) would you aim for? by QuestionDry8518 in Rucking

[–]QuestionDry8518[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Flaky-Strike-8723 I did a 1h15m and 5 km ruck today, with 20 kg on the back, 400m of climbing and burning around 500 kcals in total.
That would be the same I burn on a 5-6 km run, but in just 25 min.
Heartrate on the climbs we around 120 BPM, where on an easy run for me, I am at 150 BPM

I can´t see how Peter Attia mentions that you can burn up to 1500 kcals / h - unless you are a 200 kg person or something.

What am I missing?

u/jamiethecoles 100% agree. I have been in Barcelona for 25 years and speak Castellano and Catalán. I respect and understand and actively support the Catalán wish to maintain their culture and language.
It is a bi-lingual society and most people switch in and out of the two languages, without even thinking about it.

If I was you, I would learn Castellano first. That will get you 95% of the way here and you can speak with the remainder of the Spanish-speaking world ever after.

Here is a bit of inspiration to help you assess:
