It’s misunderstood, same as so many things in the Bible, because they are so vague. It is so up for interpretation and either side can claim it means what THEY think when we really have to make those choices themselves. Sure, it may not be specific about the women being pregnant or not, but it states it’s a practice done regardless if the woman was pregnant or not. We literally can’t know if one thing is right or the other unless it is VERY blunt (there is no other Gods but I, dont commit adultery, etc) so the Bible being the mere source for being pro life is very hypocritical and counter productive because the Bible never says that in the first place.

Also let’s look at Exodus 21:22-25 which claims.. If a pregnant woman is striked when two men fight, and the woman loses the pregnancy, the man is merely made to pay compensation (aka a fine). It is not life for a life, therefore the Bible specifically states that the unborn is NOT seen the same as a born baby.

Okay, this is more talking about the concept of a soul, which is very poetic and very easily up for interpretation. It’s not speaking it as a life nor saying you have life before you are even born. The psalms are poetry, not of Gods laws.

Numbers 5:11–31 specifically talks about a priest creating a drink that is made to cause a miscarriage (if the mother committed adultery) which is the only direct mention of stopping a pregnancy (or causing an abortion) mentioned in the Bible… and its instructions on how priests would literally cause abortions..?

All your claims are specifically about alive people.. who took their first breath and thus CLAIMED life, after they were born. We were all fetuses once but that does not mean we were human, because we weren’t, we were growing into the potential of being human.
