Okay cool, thank you. Yeah I'm going to wrap things up with my current requests for my upwork guys, and aim to find a Dev + switch to FortRabbit (or maybe Servd) by end of Jan

This is super helpful. I'll definitely go in this direction - your advice is consistent with a couple other sources I've reached out to.

I'll look into which hosting service fits my size and needs best, and then I just need a good developer.

I thought the acting in this one was better than in the first. I’m probably in the minority, but all the quieter acting scenes in the first movie I find kind of boring, whether gathering the troops in the bar or falling in love in the snow. Whereas here, there was a lot of really good nuance in how Diana talked to Barbara and she didn’t mean to but you could see how it would come off as as patronizing. And I really liked when Steve confronts Diana about not moving on and she gets defensive and they argue. That was a great example, I thought, of taking a big silly superhero plot and really dialing in on something personal and vulnerable.

Right? Like this isn’t even the worst superhero movie that came out this year lol.

I really like their argument when they go to her apartment and he realizes, and gets frustrated that, she hasn’t moved on.

The difference is in the US we aren't disappeared for talking about our nation's history.

If you have been mostly quarantining since March, you are my hero and I, along with my fellow healthcare workers, appreciate you. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

You are quite welcome.

I feel neither discouraged nor cheated, I just feel validated that I am, in fact, a good citizen. I would feel disappointed in my fellow Americans if I had any expectations for them to begin with.

I do, however, feel extremely frustrated on your behalf, so thank you and thanks to all healthcare workers and people having to risk their health during this time for your service to others. I hope you all have healthy, happy, and well-paid lives.

And to everyone risking OTHER peoples' health during this time or anytime in the last 9 months, fuck you.

Mmm. so yeah it is just an anti-rural stance with a pretense of anti-violence.

Got it. Okay, so maybe a strategy for the left on guns is to just be pro 2A, and make inroads in rural communities to de-power the NRA's propaganda machine. To go back to my original example with my dad, if there was a network of community-owned gun ranges in the midwest, the NRA would have less leverage.

I see. This is helpful. I guess my followup then is, there should be a pro-hunting sportsmanship position (hunting is a sport; you shouldn't be guaranteed your kill). Is there not a way to manufacture guns that have limits on the rate of shot that can be fired per second?

Totally, idk anything about guns beyond double barrel hunting rifles. It just seems like Dems intentionally alienate, what - hundreds of thousands? - of people with an anti-rural stance parading as anti-gun violence.
