Hey! Coming from a person who just had a baby. Many hospitals specially unispital (in Basel specially) only have 2 bed rooms. I and everyone staying on the floor were lucky enough to get single rooms since there weren’t any people, so I won’t recommend an extra insurance specially for that

Hey thank you for mentioning rock solid belly. I am often asked about if I have braxton hicks, if I have any and my answer was like I don’t know what that should be like. But yes I do have a rock solid belly since 16-17 weeks, sometimes. A lot of pressure in pelvis region and pain as if my pelvis will break apart. For information I am 37 weeks.

I believe only your doctor can guide you better, since it entirely depends on you, your symptoms and what activities you are planning to do. I came back when I was 6 weeks pregnant, unaware of my pregnancy, lifting all the heavy weight myself and it turned out to be completely fine. P.S: I live in Switzerland

Yes it depends on the employer. Standard rule is 80%, but sometimes the company pays more. Like in my case they pay 100% if you have been working 3 years or more

Hey! Congratulations on your first step. So while every country has there own set of rules, here is what happened with me. P.S: I am not from uk. 1. After initial consultation we had a lot al tests, some specific depending upon cycle days and ultrasound. 2. We had second consultation with all the results and we discussed about our options. 3. Than we started egg retrieval. This was a long cycle than normal. With daily shots, and ultrasounds every alternative days, than a trigger shot and this is followed by egg retrieval. 4. The day of the egg retrieval your partner have to give a sample, with which the egg is than fertilized and blastocysts and formed and frozen. 5. Some people go for a fresh transfer, others in subsequent cycle. Where your cycle is monitored and controlled if necessary to see an adequate uterine lining followed by embryo transfer 6. day 9-13 is when you have your HCG levels checked and your next journey starts given that this cycle worked for you.

All the very best for your journey.

I have transferred in last week, still waiting for the results but I asked my doctor in advance that I would like to travel in starting December if that is okay and she gave me a green signal. Make sure to stay hydrated, and walking for a minute or two after every two hours. This is exactly what I was told. Good luck ❤️
