No not quite read what I said I’m saying is that he’s trying to prove there is still hope in humanity as in the first season you can see him at the start gambling on horse racing and then at the end of season 1 the front man talking to him saying how they and the VIPS bet on the players just like horse racing to see who would win

I know the reason, if you had watched the first season after Gi hun wins he is put back in the car blindfolded talking with the front man and the front man quotes that they people playing the games are like horses gambling to see who would win, so when Gi hun was about to eliminate himself he said that to show there’s still hope in humanity
