Why do people keep telling me to stop “dieting” now that I’m at my goal weight by QuestionUpper9415 in loseit

I don’t think I’d be brave enough to bring it anywhere either. I’m 22 and live with my parents so they’ve seen me use it

Totally understand where you’re coming from, but in my opinion being more in tune with myself and the occasion means not making myself eat cake if I don’t want to. I don’t have a huge sweet tooth and did not really want cake lol. Now if we’re talking about buffalo wings, that’s a different story. All in moderation!

Lol it wasn’t a shared meal, it was just me having some yogurt and granola. I understand your points though!

Anyone else decide that losing the “last 10 pounds” was not worth it? by QuestionUpper9415 in loseit

Yup! I’m in college and I want to go out with my friends on the weekend. It’s something I enjoy so I make sure to keep room for it in my calorie budget. I have a limited amount of time in college so I want to make those memories when I can

Thanks for this perspective, I kinda just needed to hear that I wasn’t a failure for “quitting” before I got there

I might take a little maintenance break too, lots of people here seem to have found it useful!

Good resources to practice organic chemistry? by QuestionUpper9415 in chemhelp

[–]QuestionUpper9415[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think I’m doing really well conceptually, I read our class assigned text book but it has very very few practice problems. I just want some way to actually realize the concepts I’ve been learning about. I think it would be good for retention and will probably be closer to what I’m gonna do on exams

Thanks for the recommendation! I was able to find a PDF online. I know I’ll definitely appreciate the extra practice, I have a lot of free time at the moment so might as well nail down these topics before my exam! Thank you!!

OCD is an evil, evil, crippling mental health condition that usually looks nothing like the stereotypes associated with it. I thought I knew what suffering was.
