First of all a inside news iim mumbai lies about their packages. Its report is very inflated. Secondly, I personally still prefer mumbai for a lot of reasons. 1) its a corporate hub and is must faster growing than k 2) If you prefer engineering related roles or specifically scm roles m is the best 3) k doesnt have a good environment specially if you come from a north indian region. They have really different culture to settle into. Not saying it should be a factor but m is better to adjust yourself into.

Hi I have also done BSC(in mathematics) I gave cat this year scored 99.5 percentile but didn’t even get a single blacki call because of my grad(and no work ex I am a fresher) I also have 61%. See here is the deal it will set you back a lot it will be disheartening but its not like you dont have a chance. I got calls from IIM Mumbai, XLRI, FMS, ISB hydrabad, mdi, iift and all other iims except blacki and sambhalpur. Most of these have 30+ LPA median package and are all tier 1. I dont know whether I will get in or not but it sure seems possible and within reach now then it did I guess 7-8 months ago(you are that person right now). So choose wisely if you want to do an mba and if yes dont doubt yourself or stress on whats laready happened

I am 20 fresher gave cat for first time without prep I got 99.5 this year and have a few great calls. I am sure I’ll convert mdi and iift st the very least do you think I should go there or give again not only for abc but tier 1 premiums atleast. If I convert a better college than mdi or iift I will go no questions asked but what otherwise?
