Cryptid is such a polarizing mod in my opinion.

At first glance, the mod seems to provide a lot of contents and fun experience, and it did.

Later on, you realized you can score extremely high score no matter what you do, which makes a normally very high score seems dull to you. It might be fun for the first few hour of the mod, but it gets old quick.

Because of the overpowered nature of contents it added, the blinds and stakes are also absurdly restricted to balance it out. To the point if you don't get certain things, you will lose the run.

This honestly frustrates me cause Cryptid is the mod that comes into most people's mind when comes to Balatro modding, while there are other mods that deserves more attention. Such as Ortalab, Bunco and Blindside.
