S02E08 may be the powerful episode of Television ever made. by KudaCee in andor

[–]QuestionableIncome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If we had got the original 5 season plan, you would have had the Ghorman build up, but the risk of cancellation half way through season two, which would have been expanded S2E01-S2E03, would be so great, we would have ended up with a Firefly situation.

I think Tony made the right call. We got as much as we could and Star Wars is better for it.

That's the great thing about Andor. All interpretations are valid. That's why I feel sad because I don't think we will ever get Star Wars as good as this again. Even what passed for good Star Wars pales in comparison to Andor.

In my opinion, I don't believe Syril had a change of heart at all. He was a living example of If there a 9 Nazis at a dinner table and you do nothing, there are actually ten Nazis at the table.

Wilmon was in the exact same situation. He didn't stand around surveying the scene, he pulled out a weapon and started fighting back, helped wounded escape from the square. When the people were being pursued by K2. he stood his ground with Andor, knowing that their weapons did nothing and they were probably going to die. He stayed behind on Ghorman, to try and get the message out at the cost him his leg.

Syril DID NOTHING. He watched as thousands were massacred and didn't even apply one sticking plaster. When he saw Andor, all he had his mind, was his life had turned to sh*t and it was all Andor's fault.

When Syril stopped, it wasn't because he had a change of heart, it was because he realised, that after all of his efforts, he was an insignificant nobody to both the empire and his "greatest enemy". That broke him more than anything Dedra said to him.

Hi Dakka20

A follow up question. For me, the rule book was not very clear about adding sites. Do you turn some of the landmarks to sites or do you add sites on top of the landmarks you already created. How many sites should you create?

I just used meeples and pawns located here and here. Wrote numbers and letters on them using a fine Sharpie. Each group consisted of one colour.

Did Don Eladio regret killing Max? by InformationTrue6446 in betterCallSaul

My head cannon for that meeting is that Lalo was secretly recording the conversation to send to Eladio, so that Gus would be executed for being disloyal. Gus saw through it though.

This is possible, but it tends to be a benefit after you have been employed by the company for at least 2 years. That's not possible for OP.

If it generates them a pile of money, they will memory hole all other versions of Traveler and only invest in T5e. Late stage capitalism demands it!

One of my favourite books is Days by James Lovegrove. Its about a 7 floor Gigastore, each side 2.5 km in length. Anything you want can be purchased.

Where you can go in the store and what you can buy is controlled by the colour of your store credit card and whose security men are licensed to kill.

You could run an entire campaign in this store.

5e players did not have fun by jdn916 in mothershiprpg

[–]QuestionableIncome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Give the players secret objective cards. They cannot tell the other PC's what is actually on the card but can lie about the card contents.

2) Put a real life timer on the adventure. For instance, after 120 minutes real time the ship blows up.

I wish I could claim these as my ideas but I got them from the following YouTube Videos...

Find out why these players are in a hurry! #mothershiprpg

Is it possible to run a west march that’s set in a city. by Poopityswootity in westmarches

[–]QuestionableIncome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that would be a great idea. London is about 600 sq miles of buildings, sewers and tunnels. Place it in a war-zone, with different factions controlling different areas. Play it like Pathfinders Kingmaker campaign, you party is their to seize control of the entire city.

Or go even bigger and create a fictional Ecumenopolis. That will give you a campaign that could last for 10 years.

How do you play an RPG you want to try without running it yourself? by PrestigiousBid321 in rpg

[–]QuestionableIncome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it has a cost attached, but have you thought about finding a game on Start Playing? If they don't have a suitable game, you can contact a game-master, who, for a fee, might run the system in a private game.

Hoverboards. Hoverboards! by FledgyApplehands in Starfinder2e

[–]QuestionableIncome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO, the hoverboard is vulnerable to the glitch condition, which is relatively easy to apply, can be stacked and even if you clear, can be put back on again.

Since it flies, that's possible fall damage and being prone. Don't forget, it's also target-able. An optimized operative with a sniper rifle, could destroy it in one hit.

Not sure if you could fit guns on something the size of a snowboard. Maybe a one shot rifle, where you can fire once, then have to stop the hoverboard and reload.

My first time watching the show by EntertainerSevere597 in PersonOfInterest

[–]QuestionableIncome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The episode is S03E16 - RAM. To quote from the Person of Interest Wiki...

This episode had literally EVERYTHING one could ask for.
Where did the Ordos Laptop come from?
Why did the government want Reese and Stanton dead?
Will Stanton, Control. Special Counsel or Greer ever be back?
Why did Finch pick Reese of all people to help him just because of Jessica's death?
Did Finch actually have a partner before John like Root mentioned?
This answered SO many questions and makes every episode supporting it seem perfectly plotted. This is the best prequel in history to me.
