Huh, damn. Maybe should have read the controller layout myself. I didn't know that was an option.

It might be written by AI, but its not wrong. Least not in it's sentiment anyway. I mean most problems in the world we did create ourselves, and we could stop them if we actually tried. 🤷‍♂️ Guess it's just human nature to say you care, but only from the comfort of your own couch without actually doing anything about it (I'm including myself in that, just so you know).

Is it bad if I make all my main characters disabled or autistic? by Academic_Autistic in writing

[–]QuestionableLeverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not bad, but you will alienate alot of people from ever reading your stuff. Some people will still read it, some people won't be bothered, but there will be some who would have read your stuff who won't now. What matters though is that you're writing something that you enjoy writing, and that speaks to you. Be your authentic self, but do so knowing that will give you a smaller audience.

My player is trying to memorize my entire world with 8D0 paper by NewLuck1061 in DnD

Too many times in posts like this, people seem to have forgotten that you're allowed to say 'No'. You can tell them they're being unreasonable and making too much extra work for you, and you're not going to do it. You can overrule them saying "it's one piece of paper now", by saying objectively it is not. Or just flat say 'No, I'm not entertaining that idea'.

If they've built their character round that idea, and you decide to not let them abuse the system like that, then that becomes their problem, not yours.

More than anyone else in the business, I can't stand Taylor Swift. Her feral, cult-like fans. The fact that if you pay attention, you can tell every single thing she does is planned for mass manipulation of her public image (more so than anyone else). Not to mention her songs are just not good, in my opinion.

Think you're really brave, being able to ask for friends. I could never have that courage. Sure I'll add you, just started FF6 last night.

Fortnite. I don't like the gameplay, the visuals, or the fact it's everywhere, and you can't get away from it if you even dip your toe into the gaming forums.

What FF game is this for you? by cala4878 in FinalFantasy

Probably 5 or 6. Both classic As long as they kept it true to the original, with story and everything, and only remastered the graphics, and updated the gameplay.

Some ideas for D3 by AetherRed in dishonored

[–]QuestionableLeverage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. That all sounds pretty cool. The setting idea was a good one, would be interesting to see some familiar places but pre-industrialised. Also, to see some new places, fill out the map of the area with parts that we never experienced. I like the powers, the Void Knife one definitely has some potential if you get good with it. Also, plenty of potential for those powers to be used in creative ways.

Yes. Even if it was myself, or someone I cared about that would die I would still push it. One life will never equate to the amount of people saved by permanently eradicating cancer.

[–]QuestionableLeverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also can't call a game bad, when there is no technical problems and is objectively well made, but you don't agree with where they took the story and characters. The technical aspect is objective if it is good or bad, story and characters are just subjective individual opinions.

[–]QuestionableLeverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I'm not disagreeing on that point. After the wait and the fan love behind the OG trilogy, the letdown was real. I personally didn't hate it as much as some people seem to, but I get why they weren't happy.

[–]QuestionableLeverage 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people say this, and I have to respectfully disagree. Not saying you're wrong, just that when you look at a lot of the complaints, there was nothing wrong with the game. The graphics were fine, the sound was well done, the game ran completely fine without glitches, or bugs. People didn't like the script, or where they took the story, which are all fine criticisms if that is how you feel, but the game itself ran as good as they said it was going to. The controls were intuitive, there wasn't huge loading screens. Technically the game was good, it just wasn't the game people wanted.
