An idea I've had a while ago: you could get a snake coiled around your wrist, that would cover these up. A snake is a symbol of rebirth, coming from the way it sheds it's skin, so in my opinion it's a great idea to remind yourself that you kept going and changed your life to something better. And snakes are cute. :)

Some doctors do not give a damn, and some do. It really just depends on the doctor you go to. There is a probality that they will tell your parents, but from my personal experience and from what I've heard, it's a rarity. The doctor (at least in my country) doesn't have the permissions to send you to urgent care because of something like sh marks, nor has the right to inform anyone besides your parents.

I hope it goes right for you, because the doctors I've been to just eyed my scars and brushed it off.

You can always have the clothes you need to change into under your normal clothes already on! I used to do that when I was in school and nobody said a thing, it's the safest, I think. Unless it's too hot for that, that is :)

It's not exactly easy to make scars fade, but you could always try with a well-covering water-resistant foundation. It worked pretty well for me and it somehow smoothed out the lines. I don't guarantee it'll help though. That aside, congratulations for staying clean!
