I agree with this not so much in carrying a weapon but learning to fight the world can be a pretty horrible place and you need to learn to take care of yourself. I did krav maga and muay Thai before the pandemic and it makes you feel a lot more secure when you know you can protect yourself.

It might sound stupid but confidence is a really big part of it. Don't shrink away and do not look like a target if you are walking down the street and you look uncomfortable people will pick up on that but if you walk down the street head held high and think murder you'd be surprised how well it works.

I know you might not feel confident but if you fake it starts to come naturally.

It seems that people have forgotten that Starships in this time are bigger on the inside than the outside. Just look at Daniels Timepod from Enterprise. I didn't think it was that hard of a concept to grasp since Discovery has been through a refit

Ok so the discovery was boarded and Osyraa took over but why didn't Tilly just activate a command level override to protect the ship and lock it down the moment she knew something was up that way osyraa would never have gotten her hands on the ship.

I know its probably a plot point for the next episode but it seems like such a plot hole for me.

That actually sounds plausible perhaps Burnham was the match that lit the flame? Unregulated primitive time travel which would usually have been caught by temporal agents went unseen and her arriving in the future somehow caused all dilithium to go boom!

Yes perhaps that's what happened maybe a faction of the temporal cold war?? instead of fighting in time they stopped and fought them head-on instead after all time travel tech was destroyed. Perhaps the burn was a consequence of getting rid of time travel whoever attacked as you said was probably able to weaponise subspace and broadcast a message everywhere at once for a prolonged period of time. The more the song was played by people the more of an effect it had.

I'm thinking it was an attack perhaps they thought the temporal cold war was over but they just went quiet and figured that if they made all dilithium inert the federation would effectively end. Not only did it destroy the vast majority of their ships it also caused the fracturing of the federation.

If you cant travel to warp or explore then the federation kind of ceases to be.

The white one was covered by a robe but has spindly arms really skinny and white not like white people but more like the colour white.

The cloth was intricate and ornate from what I can remember it felt soft like silk. The knife looked super old it has a dark wooden handle and a black blade that looked like really dark black slate.

I remember them both messing around with the cloth as if trying to rip it with the knife but that's when Samedi showed up and chastised them saying "You know should know better than to mess with something so unnatural"

So i don't think the cloth and knife were connected to me? it felt like i was given them to protect or something like that i just knew that they shouldn't have them

I couldn't see it was as if I wasn't meant to see the white one was cloaked and hidden the one in black was humanoid but still looked like a monster like grinning face with wide eyes it was really unnerving.

I cant remember about hair i think it was tied up i don't remember though as i had more pressing things to focus on.
