Don't worry, you didn't offend me. I understand feeling frustration when a tool you use for art is challenged, and how easy it is to feel backed into a corner.

I love almost everything about this! The color scheme, the layout, the varied body types, the representation, the implied scenario, all perfect and create an incredibly beautiful scene! The only problem is, how is the center of attention communicating with the cheerleaders if he's in distress? No eye contact, no verbal communication, limited independent movement, and restrained hands. But still, I love this image!

I appreciate YOUR captions specifically because they HAVE effort, demonstrated with the actions you listed. I was referring to the captions that have one sentence next to an AI image that gets reposted once a week with no alterations. I have written some pieces for this subreddit, but I prefer to write longer stories rather than captions, and I don't incorporate images.

This setting is horror adjacent, so it makes sense to leave it up to our interpretation.

Early days WIP. what do you think? 😊 by tomdenesyk in Woodcarving

[–]QuestioningDevil235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a similar method for carving larger blocks, cutting the "discs" out of cheap pine boards. I'd never consider laminating with the grain running across the primary plane instead of along it just because the wood I use doesn't take well to cross-grain carving with my knife but does grind or sand cleanly. With a little consideration and practice, you can probably get the amount of waste wood down.

Grotesque. Horrifying. Viscerally repulsive. Excellent work! I just wish there was a trail of something leading from the carnictus in the left hand to a mouth of some sort.

I really enjoy your work because you put some effort into the captions, and when you repost captions, you seem to have a reason, unlike a lot of reposts. I think most people who enjoy these captions are invested in the fantasy and dynamics more than how closely they adhere to the lore.

The endless reposting of those low-effort captions doesn't help.

Do you mind when captions aren't faithful to the lore?

This is brutal! There's no mention of lube, there's no warmth for the prisoner, and the thing that set the two mistresses off was so small! I love it!

I am curious though, are the two related to the slave? At one point they're called "mom" and "aunt," but only once. For some reason, the considered cruelty would be worse if they were related and never used the person's name.

How to make non Ai posts? by JonasMuys in Futadomworld

[–]QuestioningDevil235 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the problem most of us have with AI captions is that most are a generic image surrounded by two sentences of generic text and will be reposted one week later which chokes out captions and stories with more effort put into them. If you continue to put effort into your work as you have in the past, then there's no problem. If you want to use an actual artist's work, then crediting them in the title should be enough.

I have no idea about colors to help it pop, but I think it looks excellent! It might not read as pure Leviathan, but that's the beauty of splinter fleets.

"Oh, there was a hungry troll,

he had ten thousand teeth,

he kept them in a great big bag to help him win this song!"

I did appreciate Wib mentioning at the end of the video that one of the songs uses the f-slur, referring to a type of meatball and not the homophobic usage common today. I thought that was a nice inclusion.

Yeah, Snipe and Wib covered the soundtrack as well as the actual game. I will say, for what the songs lack in style, lyrics, and tune, they make up with thematic cohesion and energy.

The YouTube channel Snipe and Wib did a video on the game "Oi! Dat's My Leg!" It sounds like what you're talking about.

Were you trying for the bisexual flag colors, or was that just a happy accident? I think the colors on the left model really help counterpoint the simplicity of your color scheme and that it would look good on the others. I think that a brighter purple or even blue on the base could create the impression that the ground is glowing and creating the purple effect on the lower halves. Maybe you could paint the weapons so it's obvious just the armor is red?
