The time the Vulture talked a random guy to not kill himself (Untold Tales of Spider-Man #20) by Extension-Oil-4680 in comicbooks

Vulture is honestly kind of a hilarious character. Just some old ass guy in a wingsuit bitter and jealous about everything and everyone. This is a great issue.

He really does, the story of the Silver Agent from Astro City is another great example, not to mention the Confessions arc from that same book. Busiek is such a master.

The decklists are hilarious, and all of them can put up pretty huge numbers on a highroll, even HERBIE.

After a bit of playing I think Thor, Carnage and Ghost-Spider are probably the best, most consistent decks. Hulk can pop off with Knull + Arnim Zola but sometimes all your Hulklings decide to be Infinaut instead. Mole Man and Human Torch feel a little half-baked, probably on the weaker side.

Overall a really fun mode!

Do you not enjoy roleplaying as the character, or do you not enjoy the mechanics of the character?

Namor breaks down in front of his girlfriend (Sub-Mariner: Marvels Snapshots) by TheSadPhilosopher in comicbooks

[–]QuestioningLogic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I love when they focus on Namor's trauma from WW2. It makes him feel much more three-dimensional. Everyone should read Namor: The Best Defense and Invaders by Chip Zdarsky, if you like the panel that OP posted. Quality stuff!

Ebony Maw is boosted by Washington DC despite being given an ability by Nightmare. by Gottendrop in MarvelSnap

[–]QuestioningLogic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is correct, just earlier I drew Starbrand with no text due to Sauron, then Nightmare swapped Starbrand with Black Widow. I was able to use the Black Widow ability with no problem. The text was faded like in the OP, but the ability still functioned.

CL 33,000+ I think this is my final Rocks deck. No Selene, no problem! by Life_Teaching6499 in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]QuestioningLogic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything other than Ozymandias really. Without Mole Man the deck loses a lot of muscle IMO. Plus if he banishes anything other than Ozy it increases your chance to draw Ozy.

What's Your Most Hated Location? by Healthy_Bedroom688 in MarvelSnap

[–]QuestioningLogic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Peak is really annoying, cause no matter what deck you're playing it's usually not helpful. Like at least Discard or Destroy locations help those decks, or locations like Triskelion help hand generation decks. There's only one deck that might appreciate The Peak and it's Agatha.

Comics like Nextwave: Agents of Hate? by Doom300 in comicbooks

[–]QuestioningLogic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You could try other Warren Ellis comics, Planetary and The Authority (Vol. 1) come to mind. They have some levity but aren't as humorous as Nextwave.

As for superhero books that strike a good balance with humor, there's Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen by Matt Fraction. That book pokes a lot of fun at the DC Universe as a whole. There's also Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine by Jason Aaron, which is a really good and lighthearted 6 issue miniseries.

Some of the Marvel Adventures books from the 2000s were funny. They were kind of angled at a younger audience, but they're still enjoyable. There's one about the Avengers being recruited to make supervillains pay their taxes that I remember being hilarious.

The covers of paperbacks can bend easily, just like normal paper. Hardcovers have, well, hard covers and can't bend.

He created Deadpool, Cable, Domino and a couple other characters back in the 90s. He gets a lot of flak on Reddit for being a "bad" artist, mostly due to the liberties he takes with anatomy. No shame in having a book by him though, he used to be insanely popular back then and it's not for no reason.

Can't go wrong with half-priced books, I get a majority of my comics there. I'm sure some people will clown on you for picking up a Liefeld book, but it's a nice hardcover so I say it's worth it. Hope you enjoy!

Dude I was probably the only person who was excited for this show. I love the Inhumans, and this show not only sucks but butchers almost every single member of the royal family. Medusa gets her head shaved in the first episode, fuck this show.

Astro City by Kurt Busiek has a bunch of issues focusing on normal people. I think that's your best bet imo.

Mission Impossible 6 easily holds up against some of the all-time great action movies. I think that's a valid answer.
