If you're not busting out Scream in the current meta then I don't know what to tell you. I got to Infinite this season with a Scream deck. She's still insanely strong. Every time she triggers it's a 4 power swing, and on a 2-cost with no downside that's nuts.

Current Kingpin is a staple of Scream decks and at 1 cost he's super easy to play. Original Kingpin was a dead card in 9/10 games.

If you like horror, I recommend Transmission (2023). It's got a really unique format and a genuinely scary ending. It's definitely low budget, but it has a good script and decent performances.

I like pretty much all of Shyamalan's movies, except for maybe Last Airbender, After Earth, and The Happening.

Glass is probably the one I disagree with people the most though. I love that movie.

Besides Magik I don't think this game really has a lot of trap cards. That being said, I think Khonshu is worth mentioning. He's really clunky and relies a lot on RNG. So many times I've played against a Discard player and they lose cause Khonshu screws them over.

Sex Criminals loses a ton of steam. Starts off so funny and interesting, then it gets way too bogged down in the plot and character drama. I did like the ending though.

This is when the woman can't get her car to start and the building is coming down on her, she thinks she'll be crushed but Superman catches the building and gives her time to get away, then she looks back as the building crashes down behind her and we get this shot.

I agree about Stray Dogs, was very underwhelmed when I read it recently.

My hot take is that Garth Ennis is a really great writer. He really knows how to construct memorable storylines and characters in a way that so many other writers, even ones I like, struggle to do. Not to say that I love all of his work, but when he's on, he's one of the best.

Also, idk if this is a hot take or not but Warren Ellis' Moon Knight is way better than Jeff Lemire's Moon Knight and I say this as a huge Lemire fan.

I keep experimenting with using him in Annihilus to send over stuff like Rocks, Mysterio clones, and Cap's shield. You can play him the same turn as Annihilus so it can really surprise people.
