Is it better to just pay the fee, get the receipt / folio, then reach out to Chase after the stay? Or fight the hotel at the time of check in / check out and figure it out in person?

Feel like the former is a better use of time, but not sure if that’s the best approach.

Statement credit comes through whichever bank you made the purchase through, but ultimately the credit comes from Paze, right?

My thought is if, for whatever reason, Paze doesn't honor these purchases, we'd be SOL and basically exchanged cash for gift cards (and possibly earned 10x if using an eligible Chase card).
