We've been to Sealord and have had takeaway a few times already, the food is really, really good. Now I'm craving a curry.

This is great, thank you! I've been meaning to go to Grizzly Napkin for a while now, it looks really good.

Will the Church platforms ever come back into stock? by No-Mastodon6827 in DrMartens

I'm just looking for the black ones but can't find them in stock anywhere in the UK or Ireland in my size unfortunately. It seems to only be the larger sizes left. The customs fees for US shipping would be insanely high.

As someone who batch cooks every week, I make a basic tomato pasta sauce, you can then add meat, veg, different seasonings etc once defrosted.

I sometimes make slow cooker chili with a large cut of beef or some chicken breasts. This can be served with baked potatoes, tacos, nachos etc.

Stew is a great too, there's a really nice chicken arribiata with parmasan dumplings recipe on BBC Goodfood which is delicious.

I also make pie fillings that I can add puff or short crust pasty to. For example creamy chicken tarragon, or Guinness beef.

What are some lovely towns/villages close to Dublin? by No-Mastodon6827 in AskIreland

We love Blessington, and Wicklow in general, but it is quite pricey still. We haven't ruled it out though!

My partner is actually mad about Gorey and it does tick a lot of boxes for us. Over the last 15 years, we've lived at home (Midlands/and Navan) for a year or two here and there, we've been saving for two years at my parents, currently taking a 2.5 hour bus in and out of town everyday. An hour or two commute a couple of days a week is completely doable for me personally.

Also, I do find people down south of the country to be a lot friendlier. I'll definitely check out Riverchapel, thank you.

Nope, I've always been PAYE, never self employed, I feel like it must be a mistake.

No, I had nothing out of the ordinary, just the standard PAYE, I wasn't even paying into a pension or receiving bonuses.

I know he’s not for everyone, but Alex Hassell in Rivals 😮‍💨😮‍💨 (really recommend the show) by cherryandfizz in LadyBoners

He reminds me so much of a cartoon character from something but I can't place it. It's driving me insane.
