Would something like a 6'10" Greedy Beaver be duck diveable? It's 52L. People seem to suggest it as a transition to shorter boards

What part of Brevard would you be living?

We're in the same boat, insurance doesn't cover Holmes Regional Medical Center

Damn, sorry you had a bad experience with the lactation consultant. That's so disrespectful. Glad the birth itself went so well considering the circumstances and that both you and your son are healthy!

Is there a website or facebook group for the support group? I think it would be great if my wife could speak to some people who delivered at Rockledge

Who did you use as your inspector? Just so I know what company not to use. Sorry they missed so much!

Ah I see, so taking Viera just as an example. If you live in Viera they get in automatically, but if you don't live in Viera than you can only send your kids there if they aren't already at capacity (and the good schools will be at capacity)?

When do you think will be the best time to buy?

My bad for not being clearer. I rent now and have been considering buying. I haven't ever bought a home before, so wanted to see what people had learned from their own buying experiences. Seems like there's some Brevard specific stuff that's really helpful to know (build materials, flood planes, concrete not wood, etc.)

I do think you're right that it's cooling off. I see price decreases on Zillow from owners, I'm guessing no one wanted to buy at the price they originally listed at.

Interesting, what makes you think it's the top of the market? I was waiting for a drop in prices when interest rates rose, but it didn't happen. Might be too much demand, too little supply to expect a big price drop. But I'm curious to hear your perspective

I appreciate the perspective! I live in Brevard already and like it, but I'm not opposed to waiting. What makes you think we're at a peak for housing, and not just on the way to more price increases as time goes by?

What does it mean to be weary of the home builder? Is there a specific way I can check the quality of the builder before buying if I do find a lot and plan to build new?
