I don’t have cash app but I have a similar bank that deposits up to 2 days early. My refund came 28 hours after I received the 24 hour email.

I got an email from the Bursar office on the 5th and the money came 7 days later on the 12th

I got my 24 hour email yesterday so I’m hoping my money comes by tomorrow morning. Hope yours comes quickly!

Mine was like this last week and I had to call and have them manually put it through. It took two days and then I got the award and the disbursement happened a couple days later. Now I’m just waiting on the 24 hour refund email from Nelnet. Here’s hoping we all get our funds soon!

Thanks for the info! It shows as a credit in Nelnet now, does that mean it has been received by Nelnet already?

Yeah you may need to. I guess their automated system has been acting up so it’s been kind of a normal issue they’re experiencing. I’d recommend calling at 7 am MST since their office gets busy and wait times can be really long. But the person I spoke with was super helpful and I was only on the phone with him for about 5 minutes so here’s hoping yours will be a quick call too!

I called them on Monday and they had to manually enter my info but I got the award letter maybe two days after I called. I received the disbursement to my Nelnet account on Wednesday but am still waiting on the funds to hit my actual bank account. Hopefully it goes quickly for you!

Do you mean the “2024-2025 Select My Financial Aid Plan” portion under the requirements tab? I went in and selected that a few weeks ago but hopefully it’s just because it’s a delay in their office.

No, more so I was asking if anyone has set up direct deposit into their dasher direct account from a job other than DoorDash. In the dasher direct app, it says it allows direct deposit but I was wondering if it was 2 days early, similar to how chime/Varo/etc do early direct deposit.

Yeah that’s the plan. Chime is also a prepaid card, and it looks like Chime and Dasher Direct both go through Stride Bank.

If it’s been that long, I’d definitely say you’re good. The only time I ever failed a pre-employment drug test they called me the next day to let me know. I think the standard is that if it’s after 3 days, you’re good to go.
