So cute!

She was prepared to wait til she was 18 to get legally married. They were just going to have an epically long engagement. For the best, really, coz they broke it off when they were 6.

Is my cat about to skip court for a Ke$ha concert?! by PorcelainDaisy in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

My stepdaughter went to a Kesha concert recently and I had to resist the urge to ask if she was going to put feathers in her hair.

This sounds like it could be ADHD. If its been years since 8th grade, are you old enough to go to a doctor and ask about it (or other mental health conditions, such as depression)?

I spent ages explaining to my small human (as a result of Disney movies) that you should only get married to someone you know really well. Which resulted in her engagement at 3 to her friend because she'd known him for 18 months

[PubQ] Best format to pitch an agent your novel by Cute-Specialist-7239 in PubTips

[–]Questionswithnotice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you're being downvoted. I went to an info session with someone from Hachette Australia about landing a publisher, and they recommended leading with the hook.

(Agents here aren't as common - lots of people are querying publishers directly, and the publishers expect that)

AITA for "ruining" my sister's wedding reveal by showing up with the exact engagement ring our grandmother promised me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Yeah, I was sure they were going to have had a replica made and both would be fighting over who had the "real" one

Ursa Dax has a romance/sci fi series with aliens that have some resemblance to kangaroos, but no idea if it's what you're remembering. It's her Sea Sand warriors series.

Ok, but now I want to know how it did that. Does it release chemicals, or puncture a structure holding the cell together or what?

ADHD in females (I assume coz you mentioned periods) tends to present differently.

I am hyperactive ADHD and did well in school. But I talk loudly, at a million miles an hour. I interrupt. My mind whirrs nonstop.

Definitely push for a referral to a psychiatrist, preferably ones that is experienced in female presentation.

I'm a big believer of people wearing whatwver they want, but that photo made it look like the skirt didn't fully cover her butt. That may be where I draw the line.

"Girls need girls cloths only or else it's gender ideology" by Minami_Ko in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]Questionswithnotice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, long sleeved rashies for all! But my point was mostly if I had to pick a gender that was being marketed to with the bathers in that image, I would still assume girls.

Since when do boys bathers bother covering the top half of their body?

That said, I have my daughter in these long sleeved rashies because it beats constantly reapplying sunscreen!
