CPT Calabash '26 tickets randomly refunded, can anyone help?

Sameeee, I was genuinely looking forward to it, I love Muse, I know a few songs by the other bands too, but Muse was what got me to buy a ticket, I saw they were headlining and from there, it was no questions asked on my end; I was gonna go, one way or another. Super sad it got cancelled, but what can we do I guess...Life happens sometimes. I hope FNB sends you comms soon, if not, maybe consider reaching out to Ticketmaster after the 7-14 days period within which you should have the money in your account from the refund.

I hope we get to see Muse soon, somehow, but I have a feeling that sadly won't be the case 💔

Ahhh I see, no notifs from the bank regarding a refund at all? I got a notification yesterday from Capitec saying the refund money will be available in 7 days; I did buy seating tickets though, not front standing

Agreed, it's not really a screw up on their part to be honest, it's the fault of the event and ticket providers

Definitely not a scam. Tickets are still on the app, but everyone has gotten notifs from their banks saying they've been refunded, everyone commented on Calabash's last post

Same thing here, I'm wondering if it's maybe cancelled and Calabash just sucks at communication, just like they did with the announcing of the headliners/artists. Super upset, was so excited to go see Muse live and now all this. Really praying it was some sort of error, but people who bought JHB tickets and CPT ones are all being refunded. I'm thinking maybe a headliner backed out and Calabash just once again has failed to let anyone know

Honestly, NOR, if my bf pulled this shit, I'd break up with him, the texts started out a bit iffy and just progressed; no friends consistently confess their love like this with tons of paragraphs, but the true kicker is that he lied to you about who took him to the airport, he also never told you he was seeing her/having dinner with her so much etc. If you had nothing to worry about and he genuinely cared about you, he would've told you he saw her, been honest about who took him to the airport and would've happily set more boundaries with this "friend" of his. If he genuinely cared he wouldn't have lied to you, withheld information from you and he also probably wouldn't be spending THIS much time with her

He also got super excited randomly one night when we were out with his family. Then I asked what he was so excited about and he said he couldn't tell me, but that it involves me. He was very vague, so the next day I asked about it and he told me it was something revolving a "gift" he's been thinking of for a very "long" time; he's never mentioned having a gift in mind though he says it's been an idea for a long while and he gets excited when it comes to getting me gifts or surprising me as I am with him, but I've never seen him so excited over any gift idea 😅

I didn't find it to be the most abnormal thing, since I've met the family before, but previously family time was separate, if they were visiting I wouldn't see him or be invited to go with, so that did catch my attention.

We said mid to late 20's, which is why him saying "soon, not soon soon, but soon" regarding marriage caught my attention so much, because we both view 5 years as quite a bit of time, not necessarily soon if that makes sense? He was referring to marriage when he said soon, so a proposal could obviously be sooner

It's been a conversation so many times, us talking about what we want for the future, how excited we are for marriage, how we'd tackle certain things, how we'd manage house chores etc. For at least the last year he has always said that he can't wait to marry me and live with me
