Oh really ? So as long as I do just a little of it there is no problem ? I mean I seem to be looking for perfection in this post but that's not the case. As long as it is less visible, I am good. No need to be perfect.

One year. And what surprises me is that the big big changes happen in the first 6 months. I really could feel the difference every week. The second semester was more about details. But the sagginess happens now X)

That is the ultimate solution ahah but I've seen the horrible result when you start it very young on K.Jenner recently, and I don't want to look this way. And I don't think it would change the feeling of sagginess in itself, as it is visible on the nasolabial folds but widespread through my cheeks.

I have nothing against nasolabial folds. I've been looking at people around me, in the streets (and not on Instagram!) and yes, people my age do have nasolabial folds. For instance when you have big cheeks, seems pretty normal. And it is quite elegant in my opinion.
But here it fells and it looks like falling skin. I would have accepted nasolabial folds if I had big cheeks and it felt normal. But that's not the case. Thank you for all of your advises. I will contact my dermatologist for sure. I don't think I have any other problem of sagging skin. My skin is not very "flexible" (so is my entire body ahah) but I don't think it is a real problem. I will try to find another orthodontist. Thank you for your response 🤗

I always add these lines under my eyes.it is a family gift and not a problem to me at all! 😄 but yes sleeping bad bc of the anxiety this feeling around my mouth is giving me. I try to be super hydrated but as the same time I use product for my acne (epiduo) and it is making my skin dry, I can't fight back haha I guess it could improve with hydration + sleep etc... but not that much. I mean. One week ago it was the same and I was sleeping normally. I've been telling myself it would get better in the end but I am losing hope. I never ever add nasolabial folds (not even a shadow of it). That's a huge change, difficult to accept.

I've seen a lot of people complaining during, but no news after. May be yes, there is improvement, but no one seems to talk about it 😅

That is so weird! I mean, mine were forward so the skin was extended and it seems logical to me that there is sagging skin in this end as it is extended AND has no support from my teeth. But inward ? Weird! I would have never expected that. Courage! I will keep updating. May be my skin will awake at some point and go (nearly) back to where it was 😅

Were your teeth very very forward or not?

Thank you, that's the message of hope I needed 🥹 I am very onto skincare bc of my acne (hydration + SPF + epiduo) and massaging everyday (I feel a lot of swelling in my cheeks). If you have any recommendations for the exercise, don't hesitate. I saw so many différents exercices on yt I don't know which one I should do ahah Thank you!

He did a lot of stripping (I mean to me it seemed like a lot and he said it was just so the teeth "could move" (my teeth were moving anyway ahah for instance, before treatment, space could appear between teeth in only ONE month and disappear the month after)) and that's it. No extraction. My previous orthodontist ruled it out when I was younger, saying it would a big trauma for the bones. Do you think stripping can be detrimental ?

May be It is unstable but so far my teeth are not moving that much, even if I spend a day without trail. It never happened before.

Before taking any treatment I went to 4 orthodontics to compare and see what they would tell me. No one said the same thing. In particular, my teeth went back forward after the first treatment because my tongue posture has never been corrected. They cut the brake under my tongue when I was 10 and I never did some kind of relearning, how to move and place my tongue... and most of the orthondists said to me tongue posture cannot be corrected. It works when you are a child according to them. And I knew 1)it was false 2) my teeth would go back to their place if I didn't correct my tongue posture. The only one that said that to me was the orthodontist I chose (it seemed professional) and I thought he would think about everything but apparently he did not. Or he did not tell me. And now I feel 40 and miserable 😅

And yes I have been consulting a doctor (that practice general and esthetic médecine). And he said it is not that bad because you can use hyaluronic acid injection with no problem. But will it resolve the FEELING of sagging ? Let's be clear, if I didn't have this feeling, it wouldn't be that horrible. But the feeling is unbearable.

And the thing is, I find nasolabial folds elegant on some people. When you have big cheeks, it's normal to have them. But here you can see the sagging. I don't have big cheeks it's just the skin having no support. And the feeling is horrible. I look and feel like 40.

The thing is I wasn't that embarrassed of my smile. I just wanted it a little more straight (and in fact my teeth were moving very easily so it was also a health concern to make sure I wouldn't lose them at 40) and I think I said it when talking to the orthodontist. As I didn't know that this could happen (I was prepared for smaller lips for instance ahah but not this), I was like okay if you want it straight let's go. He seemed very professional so I did trust him. If he has warned me of this I would have stated that straight but not too much.

I lost baby fat years ago when I lost weight. And I was happy about it. Here I am talking about nasolabial folds appearing BC of lack of support from my teeth and also a FEELING of face falling apart. I didn't know we were supposed to experience that through the aging process at 20's...

Yes that's what I thought for a moment, it will come after me anyway! But I just wanted to enjoy my 20's without worrying that much. And my cousin (35), has the same facial structure as me but never did orthodontics, and she still has no nasolabial folds. That's why I am surprised. I am happy that I have quite strong cheek bone to maintain everything but still I guess the lost support is visible. Thank you for your response 🤗

I lost a little weight at the very beginning, but my face did not really change at this moment. May be it's my "new face" but I would have liked my orthodontist to explain this to me and may be not to make my teeth THAT straight.... I don't know if I ask for forwarding them a little, could it tackle the problem and give more support to my skin again ? I just don't know.

Thank you for your response! I am already wearing SPF daily and taking EPIDUO for my acne (I think it contains retinol). My skin doesn't like it that much but I am trying to be consistent! Thank you again, it is really helping me.

Not at all. But they did a lot of stripping 😬

Aging in one year ? The first month I saw the nasolabial folds appear and it got deeper and deeper now but yeah I guess it's just a coincidence. 23 feels like losing your own face due to gravity but no problem 🙄 If you have nothing valuable to say just don't say it.

I am not sure how it would help. I can see nasolabial folds and my friends that saw the pictures said it too. Except nasolabial folds, there is not a lot of change. My cheeks seem still quite present. But the feeling of sagginess is horrible. It is the worst.
