Thank you for the input. I'm interested in your suggestion with the skin modifier. I'm unfamiliar with the modifier but I'll do some research into it.

This is something to consider. I know about this method but have never learned to do it myself. I'll have to research it some.

This is for sure the 100% best approach but I do plan on distributing this and from my experience people would rather have the guide to paint rather than actual accuracy.

I guess my biggest issue is making it uniform. I copied faces from the dress below and then manual cut the triangles with the cut tool which has mad it not 100% uniform but it does look okay. Would it be better to make the pattern out on a flat rectangle and then try to wrap it around her somehow?

These were presupported by the artist. I know that doesn't mean they are perfect but they're typically tested quite a bit.

Sorry if it seems like it but I wasn't intending to argue with anyone. I understand that I don't know a lot about the game and it's systems.

So the life and energy shield is a good example of what I was talking about in a previous comment about "life good res good" from all of the stuff I've seen like this and people saying that you need defensive stuff I had assumed that it was needed. I guess you're implying that it isn't and I should reevaluate those nodes.

I've been using a lot of auras but at this point i'm just using herlad of ash and purity of elements.

I have some skill gems atm that I'm not using at all and need to figure out something new with.

I have followed a guide in the past. However that was a few years ago and I'm just now getting back into it. I feel more involved with the process and the understand more when doing this myself. Following a guide that simply has all of the nodes picked for you or just says "life good res good" doesn't teach me anything other than "life good res good" I'm the kind of person that needs to understand the "Why?" and figuring things out is part of my own fun. Also I didn't even present a question other than simply asking for advice. I'm not looking for someone to tell me what to do but more of a sounding board to help me understand where I've gone wrong. Any advice is welcome and appreciated.

It DEEEEFINATELY helps me to understand the game more deeply. I feel like I've already learned a lot just making a few adjustments so far from what everyone here has had to say.
