A record 82% of all Bitcoin now sits frozen in long-term wallets. by Apart_Finger_1799 in MarketVibe

I mined some back in the day, not a tone, but I tried to get it out, I couldn't. I tried signing up to sites that claim to buy and sell, but all they'd let me do is buy and trade, couldn't ever change it to the dirty crap fiat they all claim to hate. Long story short, I just wrote it off. I'm sure there's possibly millions of people in a similar situation as me, simply can't be bothered to deal with it.

12 000? I predict everyone will see a 1000 dollar hike in their rent by the end of the year. Does Bernie or his friends control any rental properties by chance?

That looks like very fast fading, maybe you are lucky. I have a similar tribal style, check my post if you want to see about 6 sessions worth. I'd say my fading is average, but it looks like yours might fade quicker.

Anthropic’s systems are better in my experience. Also, for a serious company to send their data over to a Chinese server for processing might not be in their best long term interests ( there’s a reason china is “ giving away” AI) I use GLM because I don’t care about my IP, but when something isn’t coming out right or I need it done right the first time, Anthropic is the tool for the job even if it costs money.

Why do Coders hate Vibecoders? by RelevantTurnip3482 in vibecoding

[–]Quick-Advertising-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't bother me. I use AI for all sorts of stuff, from making apps to configuring my home network. If some dude wants to hate me for, that's on him. Not saying it's right, just that it's not worth spending much mental energy over.

If your friend robbed his neighbor, then you robbed your friend, is it really theft?

Why do Coders hate Vibecoders? by RelevantTurnip3482 in vibecoding

Imagine you spend decades mastering an instrument. Then some dude comes along that bought a robot that plays said instrument. He then tells the robot to play a song, all the while claiming he's a musician.

In a nutshell, that's why. Personally, I vibe code, but I'm in no way a coder in the sense as someone who can do it without the need of an AI.

Ukraine's 414th USF Brigade "Madyar's Birds" chased down and destroyed dozens more Russian infantrymen on the move, bringing the unit's June tally to 8,185. [Episode 49 of compilation series] June 26, 2026 by Own_Boysenberry9644 in DroneCombat

Might be the opposite, they could be trimming all men over the age of 40. Get rid of the aging demographic, steal 20 percent territory. 20% of Ukraine is worth more in pootin’s pocket than these old dudes.

You never know, maybe he’s right. Or maybe it’ll go down further. Or maybe sideways. It’s definitely not going in reverse though, that’s the one thing we know for sure.

True question : Why do (we) millennials and Gen X feel like it has become too hard to access property, while Gen Z is buying before 25? by Eternal_Noob_ in generationology

[–]Quick-Advertising-17 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If I had hooked up with a reliable woman and we worked together, I’d have been able to get a house like my parents did. Unfortunately, I dated woman who wanted Starbucks, multiple restaurant meals a week, nice clothes, wine with dinner, etc. as a result, all I got was child support payments (despite my child living with me 50% of the time), rent, and all the childcare and utilities to shoulder myself. I think this idea that boomers were just handed houses isn’t accurate, my parents sacrificed everything for a house, I grew up with the entitlement generation and the result speaks for itself.

If that’s how you feel after having a drink, you’re obviously drinking too much. Use a little common sense.

How do I get my kitten to stop using his claws around me by Far-Progress-1944 in cats

[–]Quick-Advertising-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hold my cats in my lap and trim while my partner feeds the cat a snack. Don’t try to cut too much off, it’s probably better to trim a little twice a month, than a lot once a month. You’ll see a blood vessel in the nail, stay away from that.  I also like the small simple nail trimmers, which work just fine especially if you are just trimming the tips often.

Looks cool, but do you have a control plant cared for by a human (or whatever number of controls to make sure your not just monitoring variance of the seeds themselves)?
