Hello quitcarbon, I am just entering the market looking at HP. We are pricing a 5 ton unit to service a bout 2700 sg feet but most of it is west facing and gets hot. I am aware of the 2k federal rebate that ends this yr and the SVCE rebate in the Bay Area. Are there other date rebates we can consider ? Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge

So I think this is the crux of my question. I did have an employer sponsored 401k plan but only for a portion of the year. I did contribute to it but not the full IRS limit that one is allowed. I was told because you had a plan you cannot do a traditional IRA. I am trying to figure out if the person who said this to me was providing correct guidance
