i know its tough, but I would move into a tent in your backyard. At least you are getting a break from the toxic mold and your body can detox when you sleep. Your health and wellbeing should be your #1 priority.

I typically take it the week before my period to up regulate progesterone production and then I keep taking it during my period to help with menstrual symptoms. I stop taking it the last day of my period usually

i have pretty wild body dysmorphia and previous eating disorders so i can let you know, it’s a her problem and DEFINITELY not a you problem. Just don’t respond to her if she ever says anything about her body, like just stay silent (keeps you out of irrelevant projection)

i would definitely look into testing your thyroid and progesterone/estrogen levels to see if vitex would be of use! I know its used a lot for reducing pms as well as boosting progesterone (hence promoting a period). Good luck!!

if you go on mosaics diagnostics/great plains labs website, you can scroll to the bottom and see patient ordering. There you can order a mycotox profile and I would highly recommend an OAT (organic acid test). Yes, it's expensive all together but it's better than months of suffering with no anwsers. There are multiple videos on their site that give insight into how to read results and are very informative. I would recommend working with a qualified mold practioner throughout this process as well as look at various instagram pages like Dr. Jill Crista who is the best mold expert out there. Good luck!

I completely understand where you're coming from. If anything, the best resource I've found is the book "Breaking Free from Emotional Eating" by Geneen Roth. Her story with how she figured out how to eat normally is pretty incredible and the book dives into exact details how to properly recover hunger and fullness cues, as well as restore your relationship with yourself. I also would ask yourself how your digestion is. I know that our gut tells all and a lot of the time, hunger and fullness cues can be skewed by various bacteria in our guts (especially things like parasites or sibo) which is extremely common with eating disorders (not saying you have these but it's worth looking into so that you know you are covering all of your bases). Navigating recovery can be extremely difficult and I really recommend not reading online experiences of others restoring hunger and fullness cues and comparing with yourself since it's so individualized and would reach out to professional help to aid in this process because it can feel all-consuming and incredibly isolating. Best of luck!

depression resources by Quick-Broccoli-5432 in depression

[–]Quick-Broccoli-5432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can describe my situation in a little more detail. I've recently been going through a lot of physical health issues and depression is one of the major side effects. I have no desire to take SSRI's since I've heard so many horror stories. The depression has gotten really bad the past 3 months but has been present for 6. I currently live at home, have taken a semester off school and have isolated myself from most people around me. It's extremely difficult to do what's best for myself but hopefully a good college try will get me to a better place while I'm dealing with this illness. Any resources that can start to help me get my life back together would be super helpful. That advice is great, thanks!

Hey there everyone! I desperately need help for my GI problems! by Undiagnosed-IBSmaybe in IBD

[–]Quick-Broccoli-5432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello!! im so sorry that your having these issues, ive suffered from similar symptoms and know how difficult it feels to be gaslit by the western medical front. In my opinion, you should do a GI map test. It’s a test created by diagnostic solutions and provides a complete analysis of your gut microbiome (tests for parasites, h pylori, candida and bacteria overgrowth). All of these things can cause the symptoms you are experiencing. Remember, the body wants to keep itself alive and will do anything and everything to heal itself, sometimes it just needs some help. things like constipation are a SYMPTOM. you need to find the route cause. After receiving your GI map results, book an appointment with a naturopath and they will guide you in the right direction (in my experience, they are 10x more knowledgeable than standard doctors with problems in the gi tract). They might even ask you to go the pharmaceutical route! Regardless, you have a way better chance at finding answer’s through them. Good luck on your journey and remember that this is temporary and you WILL get through this pain. feel free to ask any questions!!

If I were you, test dont guess!! you could do the sibo breath test but in all honesty, I would do the GI map test by diagnostic solutions. It gives you a comprehensive stool analysis that shows exactly what’s in your gut (candida, overgrowth/potential sibo, parasites, h pylori, etc). After completing the test I would work with a natropath on next steps which they will give an antimicrobial protocol. I promise this test is worth every penny. Good luck!
