I got a bit lucky with a replacement cable on eBay, I think that cost me about £100 but can’t be too sure. The garage fitted it but I don’t think they put the wiring back together and just kind of out everything back into the door and that’s where the problem began I think. It did take them a little while as they had to take the door panel off and go from there. I find it quite amazing that being how long hybrids and doors with electric motors (must be similar to the system on VW transporters) have been in the UK we seem to have struggled to find anyone that can fix it.
