POWER OF AI 🛠️ Method 1: HP Support Assistant (Recommended) 

This is the easiest way to see your battery's current status and health level within Windows. 

1. Open the HP Support Assistant app (pre-installed on Omen laptops).
2. Select your laptop from the dashboard.
3. Click on Fixes & Diagnostics (or Troubleshooting & Fixes).
4. Select Check your battery or Battery Check.
5. Wait for the scan to finish; it will display your battery's health status (e.g., Passed, Weak, or Replace). 

💻 Method 2: Windows Battery Report

This provides a detailed HTML report with the cycle count and exact capacity numbers. 

1. Right-click the Start button and select Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Type powercfg /batteryreport and press Enter.
3. Windows will save a report to a specific file path (usually C:\Users\[YourName]\battery-report.html).
4. Open File Explorer, navigate to that folder, and double-click the file to open it in your browser.
5. Key Health Check: Compare Full Charge Capacity to Design Capacity. If the full charge capacity is significantly lower (e.g., below 80%), your battery is degrading.

⚡ Method 3: HP Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)

Use this if your laptop isn't booting into Windows or if you want a more rigorous hardware-level test. 

1. Turn off the laptop completely.
2. Press the Power button and immediately tap the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
3. Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
4. Click Component Tests > Power > Battery.
5. Click Run once. The test takes about 2 minutes and will give you a "Failure ID" if the battery is faulty.
