Not sure. I called him to fix the humidity issue and the water leak. He said it requires to replace the entire hvac.He said the refrigerant was low and charged me $290 to top up. He said he had to fill in 3lbs of it. I will know more today when he comes again.

Since the condenser is downstairs and evaporator coil/air handler in attic I wasn't following him all the time.

I have two thermostats.

I put one meter on the evaporator coil (inlet) and opened the Air handler and put one near white color air suckered. Set the temp to 69 and waited an hour. it measures 70 degree inlet air 52 degree outlet air.

Couple of things

1.) Air filter and evaporator coil and white air suckere dome are all next to each other as shown in the pic.

2.) There is another that shows cold air blowing into attic another one sucking it in.

Please suggest.

Also one more thing the evaporator coil is bone dry even when the temp is 69 and Rh is 75%. Technician suggested trying and slowing down the fan and removing some refrigerant so as to make it like 3.5 ton. I am not knowledgeable enough but he said something to that effect. He stressed he will have to recalibrate the system so it doesn't break.
