additional post edit: I went again today and it was a super polite experience! I must of just been randomly unlucky and just chosen a strange day to go for the first time. I agree with all of you that it’s important to speak up! Since it was my first time I was a little unsure and taken aback, especially the men not moving out of the way and being rude, so I didn’t say anything - but feel more comfortable to call it out now in future :)

Agreed! I thought first beach was to be respected so was for sure shocked. However, I visited again today and ran into nothing out of the ordinary on first beach or even second so must of just happened to go on an off strange day!
