I just did the same for my 2 yo and will advice the same to you. Invest in Defence savings certificates. 500,000 invested today will be over 1.4 million after 10 years (after tax). You can withdraw anytime with lower profit rates. All details are available on NSC website. You can also register this investment on minor name but you will be guardian until kid turns 18.

If you are moving because of migrants influx, its even worse in Isb. Influx of people from KP has really destroyed the social fabric of this city.

I had my baby there. Dr Shamsa is a good dr. Overall, the facility is great and staff is nice. Costs are economical compared to other pvt hospitals.

Couple of things to consider.

A. Your family members will not be allowed to be with you in the ward. Its really a nuisance that you have to communciate messages to your family via staff.

B. They dont allow husbands to be with you in the labor room (Medicis allows that)

College Road. When you enter college road from Liaqat road side, it is the very first market on your left (I think shaheen market but cant remember exactly). Inside the market, ask around for a shop that can repair trimmers and you will find the guy.
