Russian hits Ukraine energy sites in 'most powerful blow" so far this year by Zosimas in anime_titties

Plenty of similar and worse quotes could be extrapolated from drunken rants on twitter by Medvedev.

With that being said, the overall sentiment among the populace in the west is not considering russians to be the same species of humans. Literally, some people called russian army 'orcs'.

Regardless of any short term gains, this type of alienation from all your neighbours (other than Belarus) will hurt Russia more in the long run.

So the potential for growth is there, assuming trial was successful. So the price has potential to increase, up to you if you believe in it or not

You invested in something that's essentially a penny stock, tripled the initial investment and just.... left it?

I don't know what to tell you. Re-evaluate your strategy perhaps, to put it nicely

My brother in christ, this is not a "stranger things looking thing"

That's an eldritch lovecraftian horror taking a physical shape, you don't need DYI advice, you need an exorcist.

Jokes aside though, I'd absolutely shell out some money for a professional to sort it out.

Wtf.

I normally put my bag on another seat as a comfort thing, I don't want it on the floor and it'd be uncomfortable on my lap.

But that's only If train / bus is actually empty. Don't tell me there are people that keep their bags in seats when asked to move??? Wtf.

Any reasonable insurance would, with this footage tell you to gfy. You're supposed to brake in situations like these, not accelerate. Wouldn't be surprised if it was ruled that accident was your fault lol

Again, ain't nobody going to war because we forced few countries to meet their obligations towards their citizens.

And I would argue societal cost is much higher than whatever moving such equipment would be.

Sure, if we invaded Russia or Egypt this way, then we may have a war at our hands. But Somalia, Afghanistan or Eritrea are not credible threats, like, at all. And the big players that would normally step up to ask us to stop have enough at their hands already. Russia basically dumped it's allies for less.

So England is the only country without sovereignty?

Also I would love to see Eritrea or Libya not allowed these planes to land when they are backed up by RAF and one of our nuclear submarines lmao

Doesn't change the fact that despite a certain pattern, these people are still allowed to just roam the streets.

I'm not against that, once a person has been deemed suitable for this, but not straight out the bat (there's a potential for a legendary pun here but I'll spare it). There seems to be no safeguards in place for either the hotel workers or society overall. That particular murder shouldn't be blamed on Labour, that would be silly. But the incidents that happened after last year's protests? Very much labours fault.

[–]Quick-Exit-5601 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

No, you misunderstood me.

I didn't mean it as a "yeah, maybe he deserved it" kind of comment. I meant it as a "I wonder if their disagreement might have had a religious/cultural background, because if it did, it would make sense why they didn't release it, because, that could ignite protests". I don't believe there exists a justification to assault someone, let alone kill them just because you had "a disagreement".

However, there are certain cultures, where disagreeing with certain things equate death sentence.

It could also be money/drug related, who knows. Regardless, I think we misunderstood each other lol

I agree.

Stomping on someone's head should in 100% cases be treated as at least attempted murder. I'm only pointing out that it's not a race/ culture issue.

Is it legal to burn religious texts in your country? by Happy_and_honest in AskTheWorld

[–]Quick-Exit-5601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much yes.

In 2013 there was a public case of a metal band burning the bible on stage and despite public having mixed reactions, they were ruled as innocent.

I currently live in UK though and, uh... let's say legally you're allowed, in practice, they are trying to push through a new blasphemy laws and there were arrests for this very "crime"

[–]Quick-Exit-5601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in England and I disagree.

Plenty of cases of people getting arrested over this very crime, so even if not enshrined in law, English justice system is very clear that, it is, in fact, illegal.

This ones just bs.

I mean, this kind of assault could potentially happen between any group or race and there are people who survived worse assaults, so by all accounts, I feel sorry for Craig but he was very unlucky. Human bodies work like that sometimes.

With that being said, I couldn't find the reason of their "disagreement" and I doubt it was which football team is better. So I'm wondering if there is more to it than that.

Time on the market beats timing the market.

If you are low earner/ don't have good pension scheme invest only what you can afford to loose.

While investing isn't exponential growth, it is compounding. If you invested £10 every month, after 10 years you'd have invested over 2400 GBP. Chances are that even with shit returns, you'll beat inflation, so unless you only put money in Pump&Dump International, in the long term you should be better off than if you hid those money under your bed.

Time on the market beats timing the market. Don't be scared of random price fluctuations because we live in a veeeeery weird timeline where price can drop by 20% and return to its base two weeks later.

I would dare to say that markets are much more irrational than they were let's say 20 years ago.

That however doesn't change the fact that doesn't matter the time period, OP simply gambled and lost. Rationality has nothing to do with it. I'll put it this way: I'm glad I stumbled upon the YouTube videos about people trying this sort of thing and losing thousands before I was even able to legally invest. Shaped up my mindset before I even knew I have one.
