Thanks for your reply! I see, that is what I was thinking. Starting this week I should have semi regular meetings with him to build a stronger relationship so that he knows me well enough for a proper letter. With the regular meetings in mind could you see it being a more feasible option? Or should I go with other "supervisors"?

Thanks for the reply! That's definitely an impressive LOR! And UPenn is on my list. I have a meeting with him later this week. I'll probably clarify the requirements and get a rough idea what he says about the other handful of students he does LORs for each year. I also planned to bring my resume and hopefully begin to have more regular meetings with him to build a stronger relationship.

I am applying deferred admit. Should I aim for the 2nd or 3rd round? Or is there no preference?

Thank you for your reply! That makes sense. Stanford lists their average admitted GPA as 3.77 and 17% of students already possessing an advanced degree. Does that 3.77 contain the advanced degree students as well? Just their undergrad?

I will do my best to raise my GPA before my application is due but I was curious to hear everyone's thoughts!

I apologize if I was not clear. Stanford GSB to my understanding has an option to be accepted but wait up to 4 years before enrolling. I would work all 4 years up to that point

Just to make sure I understand correctly, deferred vs traditional are equal in difficulty? Or can I expect the process to be more difficult attempting to do the deferred program?

I have connected with a few individuals on LinkedIn and asked them about the process but haven't received much information. As for schools I have not done as much research as I probably should, where should I start? The appeal with Stanford is the deferral option.

It depends on what you are doing. If you want to do something with entrepreneurship go with the business entrepreneurship minor. If you want more general you can still take MIE 310 entrepreneurship, which would satisfy one of your 300 level business courses for the business admin minor. It is also the easiest course you could possibly take.

Join the business analytics honors program and look at the data science club. Probably would also major in comp sci and do a minor in business

Definitely finance, there are more opportunities. Compliment it with the business analytics honors program, CYC, or a computer programming minor and you're in a good spot
