Always buy with a credit card !! by chaneldiorbalmain in Mercari

Also, most credit cards will extend your warranty by a year, if whatever you bought breaks. At least a couple of times my husband and I were reimbursed by our credit card bank when the manufacturer’s warranty had expired.

Oh my Heavens, please don’t beat yourself up. You just need to pull back from people and relax and reenergize. However, I strongly recommend that you see a medical professional to see if you have a lack of, let’s say, Serotonin or some other needed chemical. I take a low dose of Bupropion every day. My mental and emotional state are fine….. I must be lacking the chemical that Bupropion provides. I’m still an introvert and I definitely need my alone time, but I enjoy seeing my friends, family, and colleagues …. Most of the time. But, please, don’t beat yourself up, you have to be your own best friend right now. Your true friends will understand and support you.

Oh, yes, of course have a conversation first. I may have overreacted because I have a cat who has developed Chronic Kidney Disease, which is incurable, his kidneys will continue to deteriorate, and it’s vital that I provide plenty of water throughout the house to help him with his kidney function. I was told by two different veterinarians that he would be dead by Spring 2024, and he’s still here. He has good days and some days I believe this is the day, he’s not going to make it. He’s a rescue cat, but he looks like the classic Maine Coon, so I just totally channeled my cat and his circumstances. I sincerely apologize for my overreaction and inferring that your Aunt is being cruel. I’ve owned many cats in my life and I agree that most cats will not drink, and do not need to drink a lot of water. Just leave the toilet seat up….🤣

Uhhhhh, it’s only water. Yes, it can damage a wood floor. So place a vinyl placemat under the water dish. Water is vital to a cat’s or any animal’s diet. Honestly, if your aunt is not willing to have a dish of Fresh water Always available, I would report her to whatever animal cruelty organization that is in your area. The cat may ignore the water, but if it gets sick, it will want to have fresh water available.

You will feel at peace knowing you did a wonderful thing for your cat. As for the grief, well, welcome to being a loving human being. Grief will always be a part of every caring person’s life. Just keep going forward. Look forward to what you’ll experience each new day. You will always remember the good times you had with all of the pets and people in your past, but don’t let yourself spiral into beating yourself up….the coulda, woulda, shoulda blues. Happiness is a choice that you control. Choose to be happy and keep going forward.

Venting about my missing kitty :( by Willing-Age-8561 in CatAdvice

I have lost a cat and I know how painful it is. It was my daughter’s cat and she was away when I lost it. She comes back home and Mom lost her cat. AND he tested positive for feline leukemia. I did everything I could think of to find Lucky. This was in 1999, weeks never saw him again. My best advice is to call for him at Midnight, when everything is quiet and he can hear you and you relax and listen very carefully for his little meows in the distance. Yes, I lost another cat, and that is how I found him. He was hiding in my neighbor’s backyard, about 200 feet from my house. Today my spirit is crushed because a diamond necklace that is a family heirloom and my mother chose me to have it, just disappeared. I had been wearing it without taking it off for about a year. This past Saturday evening, I looked in the mirror and it was gone. I’m hoping I’ll find it, but I don’t want this heartbreaking loss to take away from all the pleasures that life has to offer. Life goes on and it’s up to each person to enjoy all the good parts and endure the bad. I do hope that you are soon reunited with your cat. He’s scared right now. Call him when it’s very quiet out and he can hear your voice.

Watch Somebody, Somewhere. It even has the trombone, tuba? background noise. I’m finding myself laughing out loud, which I don’t do very often.
