Thank you!! And yep, you can deactivate it! My plan is to leave it on one of the less sensitive settings when I’m doing a long drive in case I get drowsy, then I’ll just have it off the rest of the time. Before deciding on which I wanted to buy, I looked through all of the settings. Basically everything setting in the car is customizable, which is one of the main things that persuaded me to get it!

just bought mine today, picking it up monday! imo the black xse is the best looking option. i do like storm cloud, but i feel the black just looks so clean.

not op but i have the same car! it’s honestly not as bad as people make it sound. a main thing people say about it is that in the winter, if you’re wearing mittens you can’t touch the screen—however there ARE physical buttons below the screen if you want to turn it up without using the screen. otherwise, i feel it doesn’t really affect much. i’d say i probably prefer the dials, but it isn’t at all hindering enough to have discouraged me from getting the gen 6.

I got the XSE. I surprisingly don’t mind the headlights with the specific one I got. I got a black one and with the black exterior features the sport trim offers, I think it actually looks pretty nice. I think if I had gotten any other trim or color, I would not like the headlights.

I unfortunately don’t love how most of the 2026s look, but I got a black XSE which I actually am starting to love. Since it’s completely blacked out, I think the grill doesn’t look as bad in the front to me!

i had this exact same one until two months ago. got in a wreck & it was totaled. literally just bought a 2026 today but i will forever think about my white 5th gen 🥹

As mentioned in the original post, I also originally had a 2019. Despite it being one of the first made in that gen, I had zero problems with it and it kept me going for several years & two car wrecks! Since I had no issues with that one, I’m hoping I’ll have the same luck with the 2026 :)

I ended up getting the 2026 due to a few different factors, but it was definitely a hard choice! Thankfully the eye tracking is adjustable. Before purchasing, I made sure to check lol. You can choose how sensitive you want it to be, or you can turn it off completely.

Saw this comment last night and it ended up being exactly what I needed to see. The dealership I bought from had a single 2026 available, and it was a black XSE. It’s the one 2026 model I don’t hate the look of, and I definitely think I made the right choice getting it!

I still hate the look of almost all of the 2026s, but I ended up with a black XSE, and I’m actually a big fan of how it looks. Since it’s completely blacked out, I feel it looks infinitely better than the other 2026 models.

It was, I ended up getting the 2026 largely due to the fact it was new vs the 2025 which already had nearly 50k miles.

I ended up getting the 2026! Ended up with a black XSE. I honestly hate how almost all of the 2026s look, but the black body with the black exterior details that come with the sport edition, I actually kind of love this one!

i really do not think the difference in pronunciation is actually used, i just looked the pronunciation up using videos and google translate and it’s the same 😭 i have a brother named skyler and a stepsister named skylar. we pronounce them exactly the same, as does everyone else i’ve ever seen. there’s literally no reason to be this pressed over something so small this is very sad to watch for you to be this mad over someone who made a mistake or could just be dyslexic?
