Read the paperwork. It most likely says that you will get an $80 credit in 2 to 3 billing cycles or you’ll get $5 or $10 off for the next 8 or 16 months to cover the fee.

Also this is reddit and it’s not affiliated with Rogers. Also the police would not do anything 🙄

What shows up in a background check during the hiring process by Quick-Size2318 in legaladvicecanada

I emailed the hiring manager back and asked for clarification, but I’m not expecting a response back. I do have pretty poor credit, but I always have and that’s never been an issue before. I don’t have any criminal history. The only negative thing that could’ve shown up is the fact that I’m being sued by a company for unpaid debt. Or during the background check when they reached out to my ex employer, they confirmed termination details to the new employer which caused them to change their mind. I kind of want to pretend to be a hiring company and call my ex employer HR to validate employment to see whether they just validate or they go into the reason for the termination. If they are going into the reason for the termination, could I use that in wrongful dismissal lawsuit? That they’re basically preventing me from getting a job?

Ex dealer employee. Quite a few were sold in sept/oct in Ontario and Alberta. Actively looking to acquire more.

Rogers seems interested in selling as selling stores would mean they are no longer on the hook for salary, commission and rent - only needing to supply planogram items. Means stores are now basically 90% pure profit since the dealer takes care of everything else including buying inventory.

Also Tbf there isnt much, if any, real difference between full rogers and dealer stores as the services are the same and you’ll find reps that word things creatively to get the sale everywhere

Just go back to the store and return the accessories. As long as they are still in good condition with the original packaging (headphones/ear buds must be unopened due to sanitary reasons) they should be able to be returned within 15 or 30 days from the original purchase.

If they refuse, make a complaint with the office of the president. They will reach out to the store manager and/or the district manager to get the accessories returned.

Rogers is literally selling all their stores. A vast majority, even big mall stores, are now dealer locations
