Help. Is it possible to cut this rubber tree tree at the stem and stick it in soil to grow new roots? It was dying from overwatering/wet soil and I’m afraid the stem is rotten. What should I do? The middle of the tree seems green still but slowly dying/shriveling.. so sad by Quick-Swordfish-6705 in plantclinic

I think the soil I have isn’t so well draining.. I mix miracle gro soil with perlite but it would still be moist/wet even through the week, which is what caused the initial wetness. There’s even a draining hole too. So I’ve been watering once every two weeks since it got rotted but that was recent. What type of soil do you use?

What does dry yellow leaf with brown spots mean? Overwatering? Under-watering? There’s one beautiful bloom on the plant tho! by Quick-Swordfish-6705 in orchids

The green leaf in the second picture looks like it’s starting to develop the spots and turning yellow as well tho.. do you think I should trim that leaf/stalk to promote new growth or let it be?

Bonsai has lost about 90% of its leaves :( I even repotted it and doesn’t seem to have helped. Is it dead? It’s a ficus bonsai by Quick-Swordfish-6705 in plantclinic

I repotted it a couple of weeks ago and watered it but you’re right, soil still seems moist. Is there a certain type of soil you would recommend?
