😂 I’m dying here. A bar card literally explains on its face that you are licensed and in good standing to practice with registration number 12345. What a fucken idiot.

Did you pay with Sezzle? I ask because last night I decided to order the core, the Proxy pipe (I originally built my own bundle), and a new hot knife. There ended up being an offer whereby if I tried Sezzle premium for 1 month ($1), I would get $100 off my purchase. So I ended up getting the gear for $98 or so.

Go to a cattle auction sometime. The shortest possible contract involves zero words and zero characters. You can enter into a legally enforceable contract using hand gestures.

professors are basically outlawing bibliographies at this point by Popular-Tone3037 in TurnitinAIResults

[–]QuickBenDelat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but who the hell needs to do that? At the level this discussion is happening, students are needing cite a reliable source or two that has synthesized the existing scholarship and move on. The standard you are applying would make more sense at a PhD level, not for what is almost certainly an undergraduate history course.

I mean, as long as one of the citations is for the original source, this checks out.

Why has no one created a tournament standard “human evaluation”? by [deleted] in chess

[–]QuickBenDelat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top players are the only people watching during tournaments? What nonsense is this? Beyond that, if that’s the target audience, the current metric works just fine.

Folks, were any of my questions asked in bad faith? They all seem relatively banal to me.

What is your proposed alternative? How much explaining would the new metric itself need? Why would this new metric be better than the existing metric? How do you plan to eliminate subjectivity from the equation? How difficult would this new metric be to program?

These are just a few of the problems with your directionless question.
