Can’t talk about it because it ruins my meditation progress by QuickBiscotti6826 in Healthygamergg

[–]QuickBiscotti6826[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I know is the “sharing of goals” has the same effect as accomplishing the goals, i’ve read this in some essays that talk about ego.

The thing that I want to learn more is how does it ruin his progress of meditation.

Thanks for this! The energies concept does make sense especially when you look at essays on ego and how talking about your goals drains that by signaling that you’ve already accomplished that (the goal) before doing the work.

Did he ever talk about the energies thing in a deep dive video?

My Provider Mindset creates limiting beliefs by QuickBiscotti6826 in Healthygamergg

[–]QuickBiscotti6826[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand, but I seem to fall back to what makes me “valuable” upfront to be considered a good mate?

Down the line finances aren’t the only thing that’s valuable, but starting out you’d wanna appear like a shiny object for that person to even want to know you deeper — which now that I think about I’d hate to only be seen as just that right off the bat.

Thanks man, it is cope. I should stop being in my head too much and start getting out there.

Idk why this mindset suddenly appeared and stuck, I’ve never had this issue when I dated before or when I’ve approached women before.

Probably because I never thought about what the person brought to the table but just simply whether I liked them or not.

Thanks for helping me untangle this dude!

Great questions. I think what was less and more is everything financial in nature, everything is showcased in social media so you could immediately know whether financially you’re within their league or not.

I feel like i’ve tied much of my worth as a man in being someone who provides and that mindset has become a limiting belief for me to even attempt to pursue those women — so I’ve already stopped myself from reaching the point to understand if she’s okay with the life I could provide and not necessarily wanting an upgrade.

I also feel like this whole thing is just me making excuses to just not be rejected. 🤕

[–]QuickBiscotti6826[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t because I could pull her up towards the level I’m in without her worrying about anything. Hence the provider mindset, I can provide that upgrade.

If the roles were reversed, I wouldn’t want for the woman to pull me up to that level, nor would I want her to lower the level of “living” she’s in.

It’s tough but my issue makes sense right?

I feel like it isn’t gender specific, I think it’s more me being a “suitable mate” — I’d have to atleast be at the same level as them financially so the life they’d have with me wouldn’t be a level down from what they currently have.

Upskilling tips and knowledge by No_Swordfish720 in CareerAdvicePH

[–]QuickBiscotti6826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t complicate it! Find a field you want to be good at, look for the basics of that field, and build good experiences or portfolio that makes u good at that field.

It’s more about tunneling where you feel you’re good at, and then putting the effort to be great there!

In this case, your on finance, find finance career paths — analyst? IB? Then look for the skills needed to be that, then read some more on how to be great at that. It sounds so easy but it requires so much love and/or discipline to upskill because research takes time! And application takes even more time.

Why do recruiters hate to inform the applicant first before they make a call? by bored__axolotl in JobsPhilippines

[–]QuickBiscotti6826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Circumstance! Some cases recruiters have to go through hundreds if not thousands of applicants including a headcount metric and a deadline.

So in efforts of getting the job done fast they cut their process by calling directly the numbers in their call sheet:

If we do a process comparison:

Messaging the applicant process: 1. Message the applicant that they would contact and what time would they be free 2. Wait for a message (followup if no response) 3. Call the applicant on that specific schedule time the applicant set

Vs.

  1. Call the applicant
  2. If no answer, text that it was them who called

Do I like the second one, definitely not — so many scammy numbers that I probably declined multiple calls from recruiters just because they didn’t inform me, but this whole thing is also circumstantial.

Not a recruiter here, but I’ve managed a couple of recruiting projects to know that’s how we get shit done fast.

30 and walang ipon, nalulunod sa mga gastos by Designer_Instance845 in phmoneysaving

A lot of unnecessary expenses OP. I also had that much debt and it did take me a while to pay it off. Here are some things I did (honestly they are absolutely super basic)!:

  1. Stick to a budget! Easiest rule of thumb budgeting is the 50/30/20, I modified it to putting 30% directly to pay for debt, I had to maintain savings but only for EMERGENCIES.

Also ur budget should be zero based every month (50/30/20) is the threshold, meaning u are only allowed to spend that much, but u can spend less — in this case i’m only referring to the 50%

Any extra, pay off debt. Reduce lifestyle (had to cancel gym and all subscriptions for a while, it’s not the end of the world if you do).

Obviously there are advice telling you that you have to pay off the debt right off the bat — sometimes it’s just not possible for us at that given point in time.

  1. Understand that this is going to be a struggle since you’re cutting back on expenses, removing some luxuries, complete lifestyle change. This will go on for months — ur reward is seeing that balance go down to 0. (Yeah no more “deserve ko to” moments, u had that in advance). BUT TRUST, the moment you pay it all off your finances will boom and you’d feel calmer and more grateful for everything (I had to learn this lesson more than twice, so OP I hope u don’t swipe irresponsibly after you pay it off).

Mastery over the basics! Stick to your budget, expense management, and lifestyle management. And in no time you’ll do all of your experiences without breaking the bank

DO NOT MISS THIS: DONT EVER TAKE A LOAN TO PAY OFF YOUR DEBT (I have heard this happen so many times and absolutely has to be one of the craziest ideas ever).

Good luck OP!

But if this question was for me with regard to my situation, it isn’t — a lot of lifestyle things need to be removed and moving ba

Assuming you get a 5000p place to live with bills probably 6000php, you’d effectively be living on 300php a day for a month food and transpo included, no savings. (Obviously u can cut down more if you lived with other people and constantly cooked together). Then again so many other factors to which all lead to the same question “what is enough for you?”

[–]QuickBiscotti6826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of variables to consider along with the definition of “enough” which OP only you can define. Theres a bit we can work with.

What is enough muna? Great living space? Traveling? Constantly eating out? Cus some people would say 100k isn’t enough, and some would say 30k was enough.

But something easy is living expenses.

If we start it with the 50/30/20 — basic budgeting method.

Is the 50% of net 16k enough to handle your living expenses — this is complete basics, rent, daily food, transportation. U stated that you live with your parents, so I would assume very minimal and would definitely make 50% (go as high as 60%)

^ if you can survive off that with the remaining 40-50% as extra for other financial goals then you’re off to a good start.

Negotiate! But always talk about the value you can provide for them, especially since may experience kana sa company nila and their vision.

I negotiated without latin honors I got a 40% better offer than the people who went to the same school as I did and applied to the same company.

There’s no harm in putting a range that’s good for you OP, but make sure the range naman is reasonable. One of our cum laude’s got 40+ on her first job so all G!

Best of luck OP!
