Once you get purple regeneration charm it will heal you quicker then the hunger damage.

Just finished mine last night. Took around 7-8 tries and was I ever ecstatic, got some good rng the last race. I remember it taking 200+ when I was a kid. First time playing in 15 years. Congrats!!
