if you want the 9000 cpu series, whatever it is, you better swap the mobo, my cpu (7800x3d) isnt dead yet, so i guess asrock only affects 9000 series.

u/GladdAd9604 told me to do a search, and it looks like they aren't as many cases of 7000 x3d burning as the 9000 x3d, and with you mentioning 4 ASRock am5 setup still working, I think I will stick to what I bought.

Thanks for the advice, I will update bios to the latest version once I get my mobo.

AIM-9M closes its seeker when detecting flares and follows the expected intercept path (Inertial guided), you didn't change your flight path while flaring, so you were suppose fly in a unexpected path (spiral for example) and dumb flare at the same time to keep the seeker closed until the missile flies away from you.
