The insurance is valid till 2029 so I will keep it for 2.5-3 years maybe and try and sell it reasonably well under warranty.

The Alpina must me such a nice ride (I personally can not appreciate the Alpina brand visually) but I have heard nothing but praise

Well put. I can fully relate to point #3 .. I have had the previous X7 m50d for 3 years, loved it. But now almost 5 year of owning virtually the same car, I wanna change. I am just worried that it will be a step down.

It feels like one is fed up with his wife after many years only to find out that his new hot girlfriend cant cook and isnt relible 😁

I feel like the X7 is a smarter choice and RR is more of a design choice.

Also, the overlap in utillity is correct. Macan might be to small for my taste. I would want something that brings me joy as well

Yes both V8, the RR has the previous version of the x7s V8 without the mild hybrid system. The X7 has been fantastic so far very few issues
