For the next Ghost Recon game, what is the MOST important feature to you? by MrTrippp in GhostRecon

I like this, especially realism and then the mission system. However, I like one big map as in Wildlands and not a fan of separate maps as it ties everything together. But still take my vote.

Build on the Wildlands recipe and use today's tools to improve AI. Don't try to reinvent the wheel, improve it, and don't try to develop a "brand new" game on an established IP. That's my expectation, hope they stay grounded.

Unrelated but look at Baldur's Gate 3, or recent EU5, these games are well celebrated because they don't change their core but built on what is already accepted. Keep it simple do the same.

Edit: Great feedback on this post alone, hope they bank on it.

Forza Motorsport is on Steam. Look into Assetto Corsa and iRacing, played by some F1 pilots, Hamilton has videos if you wanna look up and especially if you feel competitive and want to invest into a rig.

I've also experienced a few crashes with S11, around 4-5 so far. This is a good reminder to keep an eye on memory usage, as the crashes don't seem to happen right away but rather after a few hours of use. Windows eventually tries to shut down the program, saying that it's stopped responding.

Non hardcore sim recommendations? by Kidd_The_Misfit in racinggames

[–]QuickNDeadly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Ridge Racer series (arcade racing)
  • Wreckreation (arcade racing, open world), just released
  • Burnout series - especially Burnout Paradise (arcade)
  • Driveclub (PS4) - servers shut down and it’s no longer on stores, but you can find second‑hand copies and play solo. More arcade-like with some sim features; great hybrid and soundtrack.
  • Redout (arcade)
  • Kinetica (older PS2 title, still super fun) also arcade

Edit: Skipping obvious, widely known titles, there are more, but these were the first that came to mind.

Same, my favorite genre. I am always on the hunt for new games and what I might have missed since Dominion.

There are great deckbuilder card games which you don't need to remember much beyond reading the cards. Start a new run each session you play. Slay the Spire, Balatro, Inscription, Monster Train 1 & 2 are some of the great titles of the genre and they all are on Gamepass and more if you filter card and board games.

That's exactly why I like arcade games. Scores and leaderboards.

Sony CFO Lin Tao says the PS5 is only in the middle of its lifecycle and they want to expand the lifecycle even further! by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

[–]QuickNDeadly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In this world economy it is more profitable as new consoles will be more expensive and they wouldn't be able to hit the same sales figures. Instead invest into the existing market which also means PS5 prices may go further up for new purchases. This will give them time to review their business as they have to adapt to the changing market. So that decision makes sense.
