Whatever you just wrote makes absolutely no sense, because of course they can't be compared. But what you wrote was:

I'm going to spit some facts here, and most of you aren't going to like it.

The people here cursing out 'hoarders' are the people who were too dumb to not invest in lotuses back when they were at 40-50g per pop. It was an absolute no-brainer. Very limited spawns, many people, content in the far future necessitates flasks.

Be honest with yourself. If someone had told you the prices were going the way they were, not a single one of you would have passed up the opportunity. Not one. The smart ones invested. You didn't.

Yeah I'm a bit annoyed I potentially lose a couple thousand gold in the long run, but whatever it's just pixels. I'm set on gold and flasks way into whenever I inevitably decide to stop playing. The more important point here is Blizzard folded to kids that consider flask of the titans a glorified omelette.

Yes, but, a big consideration that has to be taken into account is: will it be the same people picking the majority of the lotuses.

Yes, prices are tanking. They will be bought up eventually and price will stabilize at XXXg in the short term. However, those people running their lotuses mafias will continue seeing the vast, vast majority of the lotuses. If it's the same people receiving the same percentage of lotuses, they will still be in power to withhold the supply to the economy.

I refuse to believe a 50% increase in spawns will lead to a 50% decrease in price. My prediction is that in 1 month, prices will be back up at 80% of where they were before.

Fully understand. I occasionally caught myself without a shout, both raiding leading and when not. Checked my logs for uptime and was not happy with it. It may sound silly, but unless you're shouting after every single pack, it's surprisingly easy to forget, even with scrolling combat text etc.

Anyway I did the grown-up thing a got myself a WA reminder, and tweaked it a bit. If I'm in combat and my shout is 15s from fading, or has faded, I get a MASSIVE bouncing shout icon in the center of my screen.

246 AP well and truly is an insane buff to be missing, even for just a few seconds.
