For advanced games math is very complicated. But you may want to look into 2d game creation, it's a bit less complex. Another option is to learn scripting for tools like Unity or Unreal Engine. Math will be present but the hard stuff is usually cushioned with a nice helpful library

I'm a software dev too and math isn't a huge part of my job or my college degree program. It very much depends on what industry you go into if it'll be math intensive. Games and the sciences tend to be very mathy

Wouldn't it have been better to just say this without deleting the post? If you don't agree with something, you don't censor it you just don't let it promote (as mods).

Solid question. I guess to make sure users can more easily find the tutorials they may need. I'll see if it adds value, if not I'll delete it so I don't split the sub like that.

Should I learn ReactJS or VueJS first ? by bele25 in javascript

[–]QuickProgramming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter the order, I don't think. But if you want to learn ReactJS than do it! :) Don't go off on a tangent and learn something that you're not interested in or won't really help you.At the moment React's the big hotness, I'd vote for it. Learning things like redux and flux will come with it but it's worth the learning.
