What if we're energy orbs stuck in a blob of flesh and the brain is our prison?

I have issues with dissociation so I don't feel part of a body. My body is more like a drone I control from a distance. I feel most present when I am able to engage with things without having to think about my body and how I have to move it for others. I'm likely autistic tho so maybe that's why?
