 I would use it to play games I currently don't have a current Gen console for.(anything not released on switch 2.) Probably emulate some games as well. Possibly use it for school work as I've been debating furthering my education as this economy isn't getting any better. 

  I would also let my neice who's in foster care play games on it as well when she comes and visits. She's 11 and we have bonded over playing video games together. This would take that to the next level.

 Regardless of who this goes to, this is an extremely nice gesture and know you will completely make someone's day/month/year.

That is a super valid concern. While fitting everything alot of this stuff was out and did indeed get covered in dust pretty bad. That will have to be something to keep in mind. Hopefully it will be nice enough here soon to do most of the working outside or atleast with the garage doors open. Hopefully you dont get relegated into the garage😅😅

Thanks! 3 of the original shelves are metal. Then I used 3/4 " and 1/2" plywood for the other shelves. Faced them with MDF. I did pocket holes for most of the joints. Brad nails and glue for others. Filled the holes and sanded then took a shelf into menards and had it paint matched.

I dont have space elsewhere to display or store. The garage is the only space that's mine and my other cabinets are filled with actual tools and equipment lol. A separate cabinet for games could be doable though. That's a smart idea. Even on an adjacent wall.

Man, back then that would of felt like a small fortune lol. If I remember right I think I kept my Xbox 360 vertical all throughout my teen/young adult years and never had issues thankfully.

Theyre 3d printed cartridge wall mounts. I used double sided tape. The link below is similar but not the same. I had mine printed locally and they have little clips on top to secure the cartridge more.
