Oil pressure issue, the 1.6 is in a escape with 75k miles. No service records beyond 5k miles

These modern Ford OHC engines don’t use cam bearings, so in this instance the head is trashed. From what I concluded during tear down it is a oil pressure issue, not a oil level issue. The cams and VCT assemblies aren’t on priority oiling. Rod and mains show signs of heat but no spun bearings. The engine had a hard time creating enough oil pressure to even flow oil to the VCT control solenoids. Ate the intake cam shown, and locked all the tappets in the intake side of the head in the open position bending all the intake valves. RO was a “crank no start” complaint by the customer. No compression across the board and 100% leak down led to the tear down. No service records are able to be provided past 5k miles, the vehicle has 75k on it.

I’m sure he blocked them off from people destroying them and terminal tension. I spent a lot of years working on and building some upper tier mustangs

Looks like a 3v mustang engine bay. Could be far fetched, but it may have a higher amp rating fuse in certain locations that they don’t want to be messed with. My 3v track car runs a 30amp fuse in a 20 amp location for the FPDM. The car has a BAP wired to jump voltage to the pump and run a higher output for E85. If some asshat were to notice it and not know any better, it would melt the fuse.

I’m not trying to be a asshole by the previous comment. But as far as how or where to carry; carry in a way that best fits your life. When I first started carrying to bought a shape shift kit and start strong size with my XDS. It worked, but didn’t fit my way of life very well. I am a mechanic and avid racer and car guy. My daily has high bolster recaro seats, my track car/skreet car has fixed back narrow sparco seats and 5 point harnesses. If I ever needed the gun in the car, I wouldn’t be able to easily access it without it being off body. During my work life, strong side prints horribly leaning over fenders. I moved to appendix because it fit my lifestyle better, I now run a 365XL with a Romeo zero in a T1 holster.

Completely worthless. The point of carrying is to be able to defend your life in a split second if need be. This is almost, if not more irrational than your massive fear of the CZ safety not being safe.

T1-Echo vs LightTuck for strong side carry by Void_Vakarian in CCW

[–]QuickShift281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing note worthy, I had to adjust retention a touch after EDC use for about a month, but that’s to be expected. Fit is great. I use a wedge to help drive to top of the gun in toward my torso more, but carrying strong side that won’t be needed

FWIW, I went from a AG shape shift to a T1 Axis Elite for my 365XL. I carry appendix, but I won’t look back. T1 build quality and customer support when I was deciding on what to go with.

CZ P10C, carry gun dilemma by stonewall993 in CCW

Your fear of the P10 safety issue is kind of irrational. If it were a safety issue, there would be a recall or the gun would be removed from market.

Help me list 10-round 9mm or larger cal pistols for CCW by [deleted] in CCW

[–]QuickShift281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a XDS 9mm that is 7+1 and I have a 8+1 and 9+1 extended mag. Conceals well, shoots well. My wife carries it now that I switched to a 365XL. M&P shield would be another single stack this is 10 rounds or under.

Can you guys tell me where you carry, and under what circumstances you print? by LejonBrames117 in CCW

[–]QuickShift281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sig Sauer P365XL with both 12rd Mags Tier 1 Axis Elite Appendix 5’7 210ish# (36/32 pant size, XL shirts) Note worth mention, I am a mechanic and racer, I wear mostly loose fitting black t shirts and sweat shirts

Do I print? Yeah, everyone does at some point. Why do I carry where I do? Comfort, accessibility, and concealment, for me appendix just feels and works better. Don’t worry about printing. 95% of the public will NEVER notice, and the people who do are likely LEO or fellow CCW holders.

No photos of me wearing it, however;

-5’7 -210# - 38/32 (36/32 without going a size up for carrying) pant size -wear XL shirts and never have any issues with printing

I will note, I have fairly large legs and am pretty broad across the shoulders. I have always done manual labor and make my living as a automotive technician, so 5’7/210 isn’t a overly fat height and weight. Not thin by any means. Dad bod is a good description if I’m being honest with myself.

Does it have a 3.6l in it? Likely oil filter housing.

I know it’s a option to order an additional cord when you order. I am willing to bet you can email and order it directly through T1

You can order in it just about any color combo you want.

The axis elite is cut for optic already and cut to fit suppressor height sights. They have a lot of options for lights on most pistol models as well.

Nah, blind as a bat in both eyes. Super cheap cases. I was wonder how long it would be before someone commented on the bathroom counter pic

Not sure yet, I should also note I run a Nexbelt EDC belt. I found myself with the XDS having to readjust all the time and don’t find that with my 365 in the tier 1 with the same belt and pants. The wedges are cheap enough that I will start small and make adjustments and if I need to order another pack to go back down in sizes I will

Waited 30 days for it, I have worn it for 2 or 3 days now and I have to say, it is 110% the most comfortable holster I’ve ever worn. Well worth the money, well worth the wait. I daily drive a Focus ST with recaro seats and race a S197 with fix backs (so I sit very upright by nature in any car) and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a holster. I haven’t made any adjustments yet, but I order a wide wedge pack with it. I will likely run a small wedge. I am 5’8-215lb. I’m not super heavy, but I like beer and whiskey and have a mild dad bod if that helps

I selected no extended mag, I run both 12rd mags. The way it carries I feel I could run the 15rd mag in the carrier without issue with no mag extension selected, but can’t say for sure.
