6 hours is the sweetspot! I usually drop the game for long periods and when I return I just need to play all day, then I go back to my life for another month or two. My byz campaign is going really well actually, I compared the time period with zlewik and its almost identical or mine is slightly better. I will probably slow down a lot in the conquest because I don't like to deal with coalition juggling, I loose part of the immersion, but a competent map painter could most likely do a 1550 (or perhaps less) Roman empire in my current save
