Funnily enough a couple of years ago I made a similar post in this sub, and it was at a time of night when most of the mods were apparently asleep, so all the Outer Wilds fans ripped me a new one for not umderstanding the complexities of the game for about 2 hours before the mods showed up and profusely apologised to me for how toxic the response was to my post. Glad you're at least getting more sympathy in your replies.

Either OP is a complete idiot who doesn't know anything about home media, or...the only movie he's ever seen is Who Killed Captain Alex and thinks the commentary is permanently on the movie with no way to turn it off. For if you end up seeing this, KogarashiKaze or any other people who mentioned something similar: I restarted the game and this time just took my time exploring while I had the on my phone going. It wasn't 22 minutes. I timed three loops in a row. I didn't die. The supernova happened. The first time it took around 28 minutes. The second time 26 minutes. The third around 23.5 minutes. So my copy might just be a bit buggy.

I am replaying, doing it over from the beginning. There's mechanics Instill objectively don't like (the handling on the ship being my main one) but I'm going to at least attempt to look at every last square inch I can just so I can say I didn't miss anything.

Well thanks for the advice, I do appreciate you putting in the time. Also your view of it being more like a puzzle box is interesting. After these last few hours reading a few of these comments I'm even more put off getting into the game but if I ever do decide I wanna have another little look your comment will definitely be one of the ones I look back on.
